Katy Kartwheel's Circus School in Marlow, Bucks teaches children and adults aerial arts (trapeze etc), contortion, hula hooping, acrobatics, tightwire and juggling. Students perform in a spectacular end of year show, alongside professional circus artists in a safe and nurturing environment. There are also performance opportunities during the summer festival season. Dance, theatre and acting skills are incorporated into performances which build confidence in the student and a knowledge of how to present on stage. JOIN OUR CIRCUS FAMILY |
Scrooge: A Circus Christmas Carol 20222022 Christmas Show: St Peter's School Hall was transformed into a theatre for this spectacular show with all students in Katy Kartwheel's Circus School. We took the theme of Scrooge and adapted it into a unique show with a storyline that wove in current issues of refugees, war, friendship and the Christmas story.
Hundreds of pounds were donated to Wycombe Refugee Partnership through show profits and guest donations. Ukrainian children fleeing the war are offered free scholarship places whilst resident in the UK |

MARLOW REGATTA 2022Students of Katy's top Aerial 3 class performed in this professional showcase at our local annual festival. We were joined by previous student, Grace Howard, who is now a professional circus artist with Zippos Circus.. we are immensely proud of her!

CHRISTMAS CIRCUS SHOWCASE2021 Student showcase with a loose Christmas theme and performed in a cabaret style. This year saw a huge growth in the Circus School following extensive effort to give joy to the community following Covid Lockdown. This show was a nod to the importance of sharing joyful times together and coming together as a community.
This show raised £350 for Wycombe Refugee Partnership and a scholarship place on the course was awarded to a local refugee. This student has the opportunity to train with Katy Kartwheel for the foreseeable future under private scholarship. |

THE RISE AND RISE OF ICARUS 2018The Rise and Rise of Icarus shown here at The Marlow Regatta, raised £200 for St Peter's School and £200 for Barnardo's. Students performed alongside circus industry professionals. The story of Icarus was created by Nikki Kenward and Katy Kartwheel, and chronicles Icarus' journey from a broken man trapped in darkness to a renewed character back into the light - with some help from his friends! Guardians and givers of gifts, each one that gets Icarus a little closer to salvation.

The Snow QueenKK Circus School (Marlow) and Berzerk (Reading) joined forces - KK's aerial silk teens performed during the touching theatrical show in Woodley. Aerial skills are perfect for your child if they are already into gymnastics, dancing, trampolining or another sport and show a keen interest in aerial classes. Gymnasts have the upper body strength and flexibility already present that makes aerial a lot easier. However, Katy is always astonished at how quickly her students pick up the skills -whatever their sporting background. Students do come from near and far, as aerial classes are few and far between. Students have come from Marlow, Wycombe, Woodley, Reading, Oxford, Beaconsfield, Windsor, Slough, West London.

THE BIG CIRCUS FREEZEKK Circus School's first circus show many years ago! Wintery wonders and frosty delights, with icy trapezes, cool clowns, shivery silks and stone cold rope. The highlight was John Rivers, our Big Freeze clown, whose professionalism wove the whole show together.
