Katy was our entertainer for the College’s children’s party that we hold every year. Not only did Katy capture all of the children’s attention she managed to get parents to join in on the fun as well. The children loved Katy’s vibrant and fun performance with the spinning plates and her acrobatic dancing. The children all had a go with spinning plates and laughing throughout, using the tight wire and showing off their circus skills with the diablos. Katy stands out among other entertainers as an original, cater to all ages, fun performer who I would be happy to recommend.

ADDITIONAL EXTRAS
Hula Hoop ActNo extra cost = automatically included in Katy's children's parties. This is a highly skilled hula hoop act that is performed at many events and is tailored to suit the occasion. See Katy's Solo Acts for more info and pictures

Tightwire Walking£40 = the tightwire is included during circus skills time, the children get plenty of goes and Katy asks parents to walk them across whilst she helps with more complicated juggling tricks. This is very popular and we highly recommend you add this dimension to circus skills time. See Equipment for more info and pictures

Balloon ModellingNo extra cost = included during the food break in a 2 hour party only (or in the food break of a 1.5 hour party if you choose to have 1 hour of the activities described above).
Katy's balloons are made of latex rubber which biodegrades faster than unnatural materials. However, they still biodegrade slowly and after use, they need to be disposed of in the general rubbish. See Katy's Solo Acts for more info and pictures

Fire Act£100 = A professional fire act is performed outdoors for the children. The price for a fire act alone starts at £275 so you get a whopping discount to include this with your kids party to wow them with fire burning, eating and spinning! See Katy's Solo Acts for more info and pictures

FULL DESCRIPTION OF KATY'S CIRCUS PARTY - BECAUSE SO MANY OF YOU WANT TO KNOW!
Katy Kartwheel starts the kids party off with spinning plates - they are a great way to meet the children one by one and a fantastic ice breaker. This allows party guests to arrive naturally with no pressure on timing (Adults are encouraged to join in - kids parties should not be just for the kids!!). After learning lots of impressive yet easy tricks, Katy will have built the atmosphere up to be quite silly and fun. The children then sit down for the magic and pantomime sequence. It's not for long! Katy like the kids to be up and active, but the magic sequence uses the birthday child / children as the magician's assistant to give them that extra special attention. It also gets fun, loud and silly shouts and laughs from all the children to really build up that atmosphere. After that, all the kids get up and do the limbo under a limbo that gets lower than you ever thought possible, with upbeat music to carry the fun. With lots of energy in the room now, Katy takes the kids through a gymnastic / dance version of musical statues - but no-one is sent out of the game, that would be very boring and we just want to have lots of fun. Then the children normally need calming down from their hyper energy, a great moment to fill the room with touchable bubbles that captivate the children as they try to catch as many as possible without them popping and build bubble castles on their fingers!! It's either food break now or straight on with circus skills time. Katy Kartwheel performs her spectacular hula hoop act where she spins the hoop on her foot in a headstand and then gets 5 hoops spinning at the same time (with control!). She then quickly shows the children how to use the other circus equipment so they are not sitting for too long. She makes the demonstration fun and interactive, always on the lookout for fun parents to get involved. The children then get stuck into a circus workshop where they learn juggling, hoops, diablo, devil-sticks, ribbons and possibly tightwire if you choose to include it. Wow, after that katy wraps the party up and we all sadly say goodbye to the best party we ever had. But you can always ask Katy to come back next time if you live near Marlow, High Wycombe, Henley in Bucks or Berks!
