 CIRCUS SKILLS AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB - 1 HOUR
  • One off session: £100
    (Add-on the tight wire for £20)
  • 4 week courses: £85 per session

Courses are taught in local schools within 10 miles of Marlow, Buckinghamshire. We teach awesome circus skills after school in locations such as Maidenhead, High Wycombe, Taplow, Henley, Beaconsfield, Hazlemere, Great Kingshill, Bourne End and Twyford. 

​A range of classic circus skills (spinning plates, ribbons, flower-sticks, diabolos, poi, juggling, basic acrobatics and walking wire) that are taught from beginner level with more complex tricks introduced gradually.  Includes solo and team work, competitions and games, a circus show by Katy and an exciting circus show finale by the brilliant new students

CIRCUS WORKSHOP - 2 HOURS
Cost - £190
Your fantastic circus workshop near Marlow with Circus Entertainer Katy Kartwheel:
  • Spinning plates kick off this circus workshop near Marlow, Maidenhead or High Wycombe, Bucks and Berks – a chance to meet children and teachers, learn names and work on a hands on circus skill as a group
  • My 15 minute display of how to use the  circus equipment – performed in a fun, clown style with impressive circus tricks and my professional hula hoop act choreographed to music to finish - all in your school hall in Berkshire perhaps!
  • Equipment Stations – pupils work around the circus skills in groups with support and expert tuition - expect diabolo, devil-sticks, ribbons, juggling, pedal-go, wire and more
  • Competition / Fun Game – helps to maintain focus and concentration
  • Presentation Skills – how to introduce themselves, presentation and bowing techniques - and how to fall over like a clown ;-)
  • Rehearsal – Students from possibly High Wycombe work solo or get into pairs, threes, fours and create a circus act to focus on their favourite piece of equipment.
  • Show-time – Students from Henley-on-Thames perhaps,  perform their very own circus show with their new-found skills

(about 50cm high, indoor and outdoor – teachers hold the children’s hands as they walk the wire - sometimes known as a tight rope)
  • Aerial Trapeze Rig  - £250
(3 metres – 6 metres high, indoor and outdoor – I support the children on the aerial equipment)

  • 45 minute solo circus show £250 (add another circus entertainer for £150)
Circus Acrobat Introduction, Poi Flag Circus Act, audience participation, balloon model prizes, Tight Wire Circus Act, Interactive Magic Sequence,  pantomime, Hula Hoop Circus Act, Clown Act with teachers participation, Fire Act - for children in Reception school years and above

A beautiful circus show based on a Love and Friendship Theme. We bring this professional show to your venue in London or Oxford, Birmingham or Reading. 3 solo aerial acts on silks, rope and hoop interwoven with ensemble ribbon work, acrobatics, poi flags, contemporary dance and an upbeat duo Hula hoop act. With seamless transitions and circus performers remaining in character throughout, this unique show creates relationships between the circus performers from London, is fully choreographed to music and ends with an impressive fire finale that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

School children from Bucks and Berks are taken out in classes throughout the day and experience a half hour circus workshop with professional circus entertainer Katy Kartwheel, from Marlow. 
Add on Katy Kartwheel's awesome 45 min solo circus show for only £150 when you book a Circus Day (save £100) 

Your school children will all experience walking the wire and they could even get a go on the Aerial Rig to learn trapeze - for £250 extra
